CEDAR RIDGE PLUMBING

General Plumbing Repair

The drips, running toilets, and worn out fixtures that make a house frustrating to live in. We handle the everyday plumbing across Cedar City and Southern Utah, and most of it is fixed in a single visit.

General plumbing is the everyday stuff, the repairs that never quite feel like an emergency but slowly wear on you. A faucet you have to crank just right to stop the drip. A toilet that runs half the night. A shut-off valve that will not turn when you finally need it. On their own they are small. Together they are the reason a home stops feeling like it simply works.

Most of it is easier and cheaper to deal with early. A dripping faucet is wasting water and pointing to a worn part inside. A toilet that runs or rocks is almost always leaking, not just annoying. A slow drip under a sink can quietly ruin a cabinet before you ever see a puddle. Calling while it is still small is what keeps it from turning into the repair that takes over your weekend.

Why fixtures wear out faster in Southern Utah

The same hard water that shortens the life of a water heater is rough on everything else too. Minerals build up inside faucet aerators and showerheads and choke the flow. They collect on the small parts inside a faucet until it starts to drip. They crust around shut-off valves until the valve seizes and will not budge on the day you actually need it closed. None of it is dramatic, which is exactly why it gets ignored, but it is why fixtures here tend to need attention sooner than the box they came in promised. If your water pressure has quietly dropped or a faucet has started to drip, hard water is usually somewhere in the story.
